How did you first learn about ndd? #
“I first came across ndd through technical literature on spirometry,” Dr. Barros recalls. “Later, while working at the Pulmonary Function Laboratory at UNICAMP, I had the opportunity to use their devices firsthand, which deepened my familiarity with the product.”
How are you currently using ndd EasyOne spirometers in your practice? #
Dr. Barros and his team use the Easy on-PC spirometer across a range of clinical and educational environments.
“We incorporate ndd spirometers into our daily outpatient practice, the evaluation of hospitalized patients, and academic training for both medical students and resident physicians,” he explains. “Additionally, they play an integral role in clinical research and community outreach projects managed through our pulmonary lab at UNICAMP.”

Dr. Antonio Barros is a board-certified pulmonologist, internal medicine specialist, and educator based in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil. He earned his medical degree from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where he also completed residencies in Clinical Medicine and Pulmonology. He also completed his Master’s degree in Medical Sciences, continuing his commitment to both clinical advancement and academic excellence.
In addition to his work at UNICAMP, Dr. Barros holds multiple clinical positions, including:
