Chief Executive Officer

Georg Harnoncourt joined NDD Medical Technologies when the company was founded.  In 1998, Georg was appointed Vice President of Business Development and became responsible for developing NDD’s business plan and securing funding as the company grew.  With a strong focus on U.S. markets, Georg led the highly successful commercial launch of the EasyOne spirometer.  Georg was appointed CEO in 2002. Since then, Georg has led the company’s growth by expanding the EasyOne product line and achieving a robust global market presence.  Georg studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Christian Buess Ph.D

Chief Technology Officer

Christian Buess obtained his Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 1984 from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETHZ). His PhD from 1988 entitled “Transit-Time Ultrasonic Airflow Meter for Medical Application” is the foundation for the flow and molar mass measurement developed by NDD Medical Technologies. Christian worked at the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine in Germany and developed ultrasonic flow sensors that were used during a Space Shuttle flight and on the Russian Mir space station. Christian is a co-founder of NDD and developed the core technology for a wide range of applications, including measurements in neonates, humans, and large animals.

Gotthard von Falkenhausen

Chief Operating Officer

Gotthard von Falkenhausen joined as Chief Operating Officer in 2020 with responsibility for Finance, Administration, Compliance and Operations. Prior to joining NDD, Gotthard served in financial leadership roles in IT, Medical Instruments and Medical Technology companies. He also has extensive experience in investing in technology companies across Europe. Gotthard holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) from Technische Universität Berlin.

Tom Sinclair

Tom Sinclair

Senior Vice President, North America

Tom Sinclair is responsible for all Sales, Marketing and Service efforts in the US and Canada.  Tom came to NDD in 2018 and has over 20 years of Sales and Marketing leadership experience, with the last 15 years in medical devices, supplies and patient diagnostics. Tom started his medical career as a regional sales representative for Tyco Healthcare.  From there, he went on to regional sales leadership, product management, and senior leadership roles within Medtronic (formerly Covidien).  Before NDD, Tom was leading the sales efforts for Medtronic in their non-Hospital respiratory business. Tom received his Bachelor in Business Administration from Worcester State University and has continued his training through various personal and professional development programs.  Tom is very active with his three young children through coaching youth sports and is on the board of directors for multiple sports programs.

Achim Höin

Achim Höin

Vice President, International Sales & Marketing

Achim Höin is a passionate sales and marketing leader. After several positions in the consumer electronics and medical device engineering sector, he has spent a significant part of his professional career in various management roles in the med-tech industry. Most recently at imtmedical (now Vyaire Medical), where he was responsible for the market launch of the new bellavista ventilator product line. Achim has a degree in electronics and business administration with a focus on business development and marketing communication.

Sean Iverson

Sean Iverson

Vice President, Global Marketing & Product Management 

Sean Iverson began his private-sector career in Silicon Valley, working for Cisco Systems in Marketing and Product Management leadership roles.  Subsequent professional experiences include working at SCIEX and Integrated DNA Technologies (Danaher operating companies), where Sean worked as a Director, Sr. Director, and VP of Marketing.  Sean also served as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B).  Sean has a MA in International Relations & Economics from the Johns Hopkins University and an MBA with an emphasis in International Marketing from Santa Clara University.
