Tasks #
- Together with the CTO, implement our IT strategies to ensure an efficient IT Infrastructure, including servers, networks, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Lead & develop the IT Support Team.
- Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based applications and services.
- Together with the IT Security Manager, help implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead IT projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Collaborate closely with our internal teams and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure that service level agreements are met.
- Ensure that all IT systems and processes comply with industry regulations and standards, including FDA, ISO 13485, and GDPR.
- Maintain documentation and support audits as needed.
Your profile #
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree as well as Information security management certification is a plus.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT Management.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture, deployment, and management.
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge in cybersecurity best practices and tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for the medical device industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and German (C1).
